AP2362: RFQ: CK & GR ELECTRICITY PROJECT 2023: BOTRIVIER: RESTORATION AND REHABILITATION: PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEER – SPECIALISING IN HYDROLOGICAL AND HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The works, as described, are part of the Disaster Management programme for the Botriver, flowing past the town of Botriver, 95km from Cape Town. The works is to provide advice and plans to the farming community on what to do with the sediment and other obstacles that was displaced during the 2023 flood events and how to do rehabilitation on the riverbanks. The river systems will also need to be analysed to provide solutions.

The site of Botriver is approximately 27km long to the bridge (34.219175°S 19.208596°E). The engineer will probably need to go past the bridges Location of this project.

The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include labour and machinery to conduct the above studies.

The successful bidder must have the capacity to start the works within 7 (seven) days of appointment and complete the work within 30 (thirty) days.

In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid is subject to a functionality compliance test. B-BBEE certified bids will receive preferential scores.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
All bid documents must be downloaded from Casidra RFQ/Tender portal and cannot be provided by email or in hard copy.

Tenders:
Sealed tenders, endorsed as indicated in the bid document, must reach Casidra SOC Ltd at their Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl, placed in the bid box available at Reception.

RFQ’s:
All RFQ documents must be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.
