BID 24/2022: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TRACTOR AND FARM IMPLEMENTS

The works, as described, are part of the Agriculture and Land Reform programme of the Department of Agriculture Western Cape for the Northwest coast district. Tieties Enterprise and Services project is based in Vredendal. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include supply, registration, and delivery. Casidra reserves the right to split the bid based on individual implement prices.

The successful bidder must have the capacity to supply, register and deliver the tractor and farm implements within 4 calendar weeks from date of appointment.

The scope of works will include the supply, registration and delivery of the tractor and farm implements that complies with the following minimum specifications:

1. Tractor: (similar or equal to John Deere 5082E)

• 60kw Tractor (82HP)
• Creeper gear with 200m/h speed
• The tractor must be 12F/12R power reverser transmission with creeper gear & wet clutch;
• The quotation must include at least one year guarantee on the tractor and the first service of the tractor.
• Must be licenced and registered in the name of Casidra (SOC) Ltd.
• Must be delivered at the project and training conducted.
• Rear tyres 420/85R30; front tyres 320/85R24
• Top speed 40km/h;
• Fuel Tank capacity 95L
• Must have a minimum of one year warranty/guarantee

2. Compost Turner with the following specifications:                         

• Maximum width :3.40m
• Maximum height :1.60m
• Rotor length:3.00
• Transport height 4.00m
• Transport weight 2.30t including counterweight 5.98t
• Tractor power: from 70hp
• Turning quantity/rate: up to 1000 m³/h
• Working speed 100-750m/h
• With Hydraulic drive wheels, hydraulic front shovels, and hydraulic control block
• Stainless steel rotor tunnel
• Lighting and brake system
• Fleece roller

3. Chipper with the following specifications: (similar or equal to “Junkkari HJ170”)

• Feed opening size- 20x20cm
• Disc diameter -74cm
• Disc mass – 106kg
• Blade count – 4
• Revolutions – 540 – 1000 r.p.m
• Blade setting – 3-20mm
• Max wood diameter-17cm
• Chipping capacity- 4-8 m³/h
• Power equipment -20-50kw
• Weight -550 kg
• Length in working position- 220cm
• Width in working position – 160cm
• Width in transport position – 160cm
• Height in transport position- 240cm

General:

• The quotation must include at least one year warrantee of the farm implements.
•  The tractor must be licenced and registered to Casidra (SOC) Ltd
• All equipment’s must be delivered at the project and training conducted.

3. Scope of Works (Form CBD 4)
4. PPP Evaluation Form (Form CBD 5.1 (80/20))
5. Bank Entity Form (Form CBD 7) unless the banking details of the company indicate “verified” on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
6. Registration on the CSD for all suppliers is compulsory and registration numbers must be supplied.

In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as further indicated in CBD 5.1 is subject to:

• a functionality compliance test;
• B-BBEE certified bids will receive preferential scores;

BID DEADLINE:  The closing date for the bid is 6th September 2022 strictly at 12H00.

SUBMISSION OF TENDER

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name of the bidder and the inscription “VREDENDAL: TIETIES ENTERPRISE: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TRACTOR AND FARM IMPLEMENTS – BID NO. 24/2022” and placed in the bid box available at Reception of Casidra’s Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl.  No faxed, emailed, counter-to-counter courier or posted bids will be accepted.

The following documents (including fully completed and signed CBD forms numbered 1 to 7 as supplied) must be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after closure of the bid and submitted as a bid packet:
