BID NO: 63/2019 GANSBAAI: NGQUNGQUSHE GARDEN: SUPPLY AND INSTALL IRRIGATION SYSTEM

The works, as described, is situated 2,5 km east of Gansbaai. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include labour, material and machinery. The successful bidder must have the capacity to start the works within 7 (seven) days of appointment
Conditions that may pose a risk:
This specific area is a very high riotous area. The Contractor must put all necessary precautions in place to work under these conditions and to provide his / her own security and for the safekeeping of material and equipment
THE SCOPE OF WORKS:
PUMP:
Supply and deliver a diesel powered portable Pump such as “Yanmar YDH 50” or equal and approved complete with a 6 metre flexible and reinforced suction hose and strainer as well as a flexible and reinforced 6 metres long delivery hose, both with quick release couplings to the pump. Supply to the end of the delivery hose a quick release fitting which again is to be fitted onto the new 50mm diameter, class 6 irrigation pipeline. The pump to be fitted with wheel barrow wheels
IRRIGATION:
Excavate up the a depth of 250mm and lay new 50mm diameter, class 6 LDPE pipeline. Provide and fit new T-pieces (Reduce from 50mm – 20mm) in the positions shown on the drawing.
Provide from the T-pieces a short length of 300mm long 20mm diameter pipe and fit a 90 degree bent and just after the bend a 20mm UPVC valve and quick coupling fittings.
Provide and fit to each connection a 20 metre reinforced dragline hose. Each dragline to be supplied with a sprayer (12 meter radius spray) on a tripod.
The end of the main pipeline to be blanked off.

In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as further indicated in CBD 5.1 is subject to:
- a functionality compliance test;
- B-BBEE certified bids will receive preferential scores;
BID DEADLINE: The closing date for the bid is 18 July 2019 strictly at 12H00.
The following documents (including fully completed and signed CBD forms numbered 1 to 7 as supplied) must be valid for a period of 60 calendar days after closure of the bid and submitted as a bid packet:
- A completed project bid to supply and installation of an irrigation system with all supplied CBD forms fully completed and signed.
- A certified copy of the company’s BEE Certificate / original Sworn Affidavit (please see CBD 5.1 which is applicable). Tax Clearance is compulsory and must be indicated as compliant on CSD for the principle and all sub-contractors.
- Completed and signed PPP (CBD 5.1) form.
- Registration on the CSD is compulsory and CSD Supplier Registration numbers must be supplied.
- Fully completed, stamped and signed Bank Entity Form (Form CBD 7), unless the company banking information indicate “verified” on the CSD
