BID NO: 7/2022 – VALUATION OF SHARES

This document is not for sale. Any entity that requests payment must be reported at the contact person indicated in this tender.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Constitution Road Wine Growers is a thriving fruit and grape farm in the Breede Valley in the Robertson area in the Western Cape Province co-owned by Robertson Winery and the Le Chassuer Worker Trust. The business is in a developmental stage where dividends has not yet been paid out. Therefore, a service provider is required to determine the value of these shares.

A suitably qualified service provider is needed to conduct a formal valuation.

The project is expected to run from 01 May 2022 to 30 June 2022.

Scope of Works:

The scope of works is described on document CPBD 4 and will include:

  1. Conduct a formal valuation process in order to determine the value of the assets of Constitution Road Wine Growers. This should include all assets and liabilities, including land and moveable assets.
  2. Evaluate the contributions made towards the business by each shareholder, as well as the contributions made by third parties on behalf of these shareholders. This is required to determine the impact of these kinds of contributions on the current asset value of the business. This aspect needs to be incorporated into the share purchase negotiation process to ensure that the worker’s trust is not required to pay for the contributed assets.
