GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The works, as described, are part of the Agriculture and Land Reform programme of the Department of Agriculture Western Cape for the Little Karoo district. Kasper Boerdery is situated, outside Dysselsdorp. On the gravel road on your way to De Rust. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include supply, delivered and installation. The successful bidder must have the capacity to start work within Seven (7) days after appointment and complete works within 21 (twenty-one) days.

This project consists of the following elements:
ROOF SHEETS:
Remove the existing see-through sheeting from the roof of the existing store and remove rubble from site.
Provide and fix with new roofing screws, new 1,25mm thick IBR profile polycarbonate sheeting in the openings. Allow for three screws at each purlin. The polycarbonate sheeting to be shifted underneath the existing galvanize sheeting.
Approximate opening length per bay – 9500mm
Allow for 18 openings
FASCIA BOARDS (WOOD):
To the side cladding, provide and fix 225 x 32mm thick wrought South African pine fascia boards as shown on the attached Sketch A. Where the fascia boards meet with each other, proper H-profile bracket will be used.
The fascia boards to be fixed from inside the side cladding with 6mm galvanised coach screws at 500mm centres.
Before any of the boarding can be fixed, it has to be painted with one primer coat, one undercoat and one coat high gloss paint. Only after fixing the final coat can be applied.
NOTE: The store length is approximately 46 metre long. Allow for both sides of the store
EAVES GUTTERS (OG PROFILE):
Supply and install new seamless aluminium, 150mm OG profile guttering against the fascia boards, strictly according to the manufacturer’s instruction.

CONCRÉTE BASE FOR TANK STAND:
Form a new reinforced concrete slab in the positions shown, formed with 35/19 Mpa (1:1,5:2 mix with 19mm stone), 150mm thick and reinforced with mesh reinforcement as ref. 193, with foundation to the sizes shown on Sketch A.
Finish working surface and exposed edges with wooden float before the concrete has set. All sharp edges to be rounded off smoothly.
WATER TANK:
Provide and fit onto the new concrete base 5 000 Litre vertical storage water tanks (SABS approved), manufactured out of roto moulded polyethylene plastics with a 450mm diameter inspection lid.
The tank outlet to be reduced to 32mm diameter fittings and UPVC piping and stop valves.
Allow for three tanks on each side of the store. all tanks to be connected to each other with stop valves at each end.
SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
All RFQ documents to be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.
FAILURE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THE COMPULSORY DOCUMENTATION AND PARTICULARS MAY RENDER THE BID INVALID.
