GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The works, as described, are part of the Agriculture and Land Reform programme of the Department of Agriculture Western Cape for the Central Karoo district. The farm Viskuil Enterprises, is situated in Laingsburg, in the Western Cape Province. GPS Coordinates 20, 83888; 33,186312
The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include supply, delivered and installation. The successful bidder must have the capacity to start work within Seven (7) days after appointment and complete works within 20 (twenty) days.
SCOPE OF WORKS
SUPPLY AND INSTALL
1 x Solar system to run a 15kw submersible borehole pump. The system includes the following:
1 x 22kw solar VFD built into an IP65 enclosure with all switchgear, fuses and surge arrestors as well as a sine wave filter for a 15kw borehole pump.
1 x Solar panels for at least 2.7 times the motor size
1 x Galvanized frames for the solar panels
1 x Wiring and earthing for the system
230 x 16×4 armored cable between the solar panels and the borehole
1 x Installation and commissioning of the complete system. Pump is already installed.
16×4 cable should be buried in very hard rocky soil over a hill.
