REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: SERVICE PROVIDERS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SOFTWARE INTEGRATION SOLUTION

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Casidra SOC Ltd is a schedule 3D business enterprise of the Western Cape Provincial Government situated in Paarl, Western Cape.

The company is in need of a service provider to develop and implement a software integration solution that will integrate all Casidra’s standalone systems and processes. The proposed solution should integrate project management, procurement, finance and Human capital systems.

The full scope of works can be found on CPBD4.  

Conditions that may pose a risk:

The service provider is to put all the necessary precautions in place to protect data and not let it be exposed to any attacks or threats.

Compulsory documentation to be submitted by the interested bidder includes a detailed priced proposal, which as a minimum should include timeframes and deliverables. The service provider must be able to provide a reputable track record.

The following documents must be included in the proposal:

1. Company profile;
2. Experience of similar work;
3. References of similar completed work;

In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as indicated in CBD 5.1 is subject to:

1. A functionality compliance test
2. BEE certified bids will receive preferential scores.

All bidders submitting a proposal must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliant on date of appointment. For more information, please contact National Treasury Central Supplier Database for Government (https://secure.csd.gov.za).

The successful bidder will be required to fill in and sign a Service Level Agreement (CPBD 8).

BID DEADLINE:  The closing date for the bid is 08 SEPTEMBER 2023 at 12H00.

SUBMISSION OF BIDS:

All RFQ documents to be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.

NOTE TO BIDDERS:

Bidders are required to ensure that electronic bid submissions are done at least a day before the closing date to prevent issues which they may encounter due to their internet speed, bandwidth or the size of number of uploads they are submitting. Please do not wait for the last minute to submit. A bidder can upload 30MB and up to 10 documents per upload and multiple uploads are permitted.

The fully completed and signed bid documents, must be valid for a period of 60 calendar days after closure of the bid and submitted as a bid packet.
