GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The Western Cape Department of Agriculture’s Eden District is in need of a service provider to develop a tool for non-financial indicators. With this tool development, a total of FOUR (4) businesses have been earmarked to be assessed. This tool must be able to determine whether the said businesses are in need of business rescue or not. The assessment would involve physical monitoring and conducting interviews of the businesses.
RATIONALE
The Western Cape Department of Agriculture needs to determine whether the said entities need business rescue or not. This can only be done using this assessment tool.
PROJECT SCOPE / DELIVERABLES
The service provider is expected to deliver the following key deliverables and tasks to the UTA:
- A generic assessment tool for business rescue
- A report for each of the FOUR (4) businesses detailing what kind interventions may be needed to get the entities back to profitability.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED
The Service Provider must have the relevant qualification in Business or Economics and have experience in business rescue.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS PERTAINING TO QUOTE SUBMISSION
- A Gantt chat should be submitted with the quotation indicating the estimated duration of this assignment.
In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as further indicated in CBD 5.1 is subject to:
- The successful bidder will be required to fill in and sign a Service Level Agreement (CPBD 8)
BID DEADLINE: The closing date for the bid is 16 August 2023 strictly at 12H00.
SUBMISSION OF BIDS
RFQ documents are to be uploaded on the website from which they were downloaded. No faxed, counter-to-counter or posted bids will be accepted.
Bidders are required to ensure that electronic bid submissions are done at least a day before the closing date to prevent issues which they may encounter due to their internet speed, bandwidth or the size of number of uploads they are submitting. Please do not wait for the last day to submit. A bidder can upload 30MB and up to 10 documents per upload and multiple uploads are permitted.
