GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The works, as described, is situated in the Lutzville North West Coast district. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid. The successful bidder must have the capacity to start with the work within seven days after appointment. Coordinates of the location of the farm are as follows: 31⁰ 35’ 40.01” S &18⁰ 23’ 22.70” E
The scope of works is described on document CPBD 4 and will include:
Services of a qualified SABI irrigation designer and are required to design an efficient and cost-effective irrigation system as detailed below in CPBD 4.
In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as further indicated in CPBD 5.1 is subject to:
- A functionality compliance test;
- B-BBEE certified bids will receive preferential scores;
The successful bidder will be required to fill in and sign a Service Level Agreement (CPBD 8).
BID DEADLINE: The closing date for the bid is 28 SEPTEMBER 2023 strictly at 12H00.
SUBMISSION OF RFQ
All RFQ documents to be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.
NOTE TO BIDDERS:
Bidders are required to ensure that electronic bid submissions are done at least a day before the closing date to prevent issues which they may encounter due to their internet speed, bandwidth or the size of number of uploads they are submitting. Please do not wait for the last minute to submit. A bidder can upload 30MB and up to 10 documents per upload and multiple uploads are permitted.
