RFQ AP2126: PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER – VALUATION OF ASSETS
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Thokozani Staff Holdings is an empowerment entity for Diemersfontein Wines located in the Wellington area of the Western Cape Province. The entire ownership structure comprises of the empowerment entity (i.e. Thokozani Staff Holdings), an operating company (i.e. Thokozani Winelands Investments) and a property company (i.e. Thokozani Winelands Properties) who all have a substantial shareholding in an operating company (i.e. Diemersfontein Wines), through Thokozani Staff Holdings. Both entities share resources to manage and run their respective agricultural, agro-processing and related tourism assets and operations.
The completion period of this service is (Eight) 8 calendar weeks starting from the day of appointment.
This project consists of the following elements:
The UTA requires services of a suitably qualified and registered farm valuation expert to conduct a formal valuation of Thokozani Staff Holdings properties.
An independent valuation of agricultural land and residential/business properties is required to be able to put a market value of the Thokozani Staff Holdings owned properties. This will assist to make the ownership restructuring of the group of entities easier and produce more reliable outcomes which would be acceptable to all parties involved.
NOTE: the service provider must be a registered valuations expert with the relevant regulatory body.
Lump Sum Bid
No unit rate price adjustment of whatever nature, except for decreases or increases in the Value-Added Tax (VAT) and / or Variation Orders, will be applicable in this contract. The bidder shall make provision in his bid price for possible fluctuations in costs.
Bids are subject to the Casidra SOC Ltd Financial Regulations, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022, the General Conditions of contract (GCC) where applicable, and if applicable other special conditions of contract. (A B-BBEE status level verification certificate must be delivered to Casidra SOC Ltd, 22 Louws Avenue, Paarl, in order to qualify for preference points for B-BBEE).
SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
All RFQ documents to be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.

NOTE TO BIDDERS:
