RFQ: ST  HELENA BAY: SHERA FARM: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF A FEED MIXER

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The works, as described, are part of the Agriculture and Land Reform programme of the Department of Agriculture Western Cape for supply and delivery of a new feed mixer. Shera farm Pty Ltd is situated approximately 150km north of Cape town and 24km from Vredenburg.

The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include supply and delivery of a new feed mixer.  The successful bidder must have the capacity to deliver the equipment within 21 (twenty-one) days after appointment.

The scope of works will include:

Feed mixer specifications:

  • Similar- or equal to the Rumax 5 (with 5m3 mixing capacity)
  • Single Auger
  • Scale
  • PTO shaft
  • Hydraulic off-loading

General:

  • The quotation must include at least one-year warranty.
  • Must have a service centre within 100km of project.
  • Parts must be readily available locally.
  • The feed mixer must be delivered at the project and training conducted.

In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as further indicated in CBD 5.1is subject to:

  • B-BBEE certified bids will receive preferential scores;

RFQ DEADLINE:  The closing date for the request for quote is 14 February 2023 strictly at 12H00.

SUBMISSION OF RFQ

All RFQ documents to be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.

NOTE TO BIDDERS:
