GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The works as described is required on location, situated next to the Stellenbosch Flight Academy. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include the supply of the machinery, labour and equipment for the delivery thereof. The successful bidder must have the capacity to start with the work within 7 (Seven) days after appointment.
The scope of works is as follows:
The supply and delivery of the following implements to the above-mentioned farm;
- New 10 x 10 Offset Disc plough Working width2320mm and 600mm (24 inch) diameter discs with sealed bearings.
- New 4 Furrow Plough as per Massey Ferguson or equal and approved.
- New Rotovator 1.6m working width as per Sovema GPC-3 catalogue or equal and approved.
- New 3-Row Ridger with bed formers (mouldboard ploughs throw soil up for bed formers)
- New Single row Ridger with leveller 550mm (22 inch) discs.
- New Bpi 9 Spring-loaded Tine Tiller.
- Minimum one year guarantee on the Implements
The location of the farm is as follows:
HLA BOERDERY: 33°59’00.36″S, 18°49’07.76″E
In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, this bid as further indicated in CBD 5.1 is subject to:
- a functionality compliance test;
- B-BBEE certified bids will receive preferential scores;
BID DEADLINE: The closing date for the bid is 27 September 2023 strictly at 12H00.
SUBMISSION OF RFQ
All RFQ documents to be uploaded onto the Casidra RFQ/Tender portal. No e-mailed or hard copy documents will be accepted.
NOTE TO BIDDERS:
