TENDER NO: 2/2023 EBENHAESER: CONSTRUCTION OF IRRIGATION MAINLINES FOR THE PROEFPLAAS PLOTS, EBENHAESER
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The bid will be a measured bid for the works described and is to include material, labor and machinery. The works must be completed within a four (4) month (definition as defined further) contract period.
The scope of works entails the installation of approximately 3 000 m of uPVC pipes with associated fittings to a minimum of 1 m depth cover. The pipes are to be installed on the section of Ebenhaeser referred to as the Proefplaas. This farm is within a 5 km radius of the town of Ebenhaeser.
Bidders must have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3 CE (or 2 CE PE) or 3 GB (or 2 GB PE) or higher.
The tender process is as follows:
BID DEADLINE: The closing date for the bid is 26th June 2023 strictly at 12H00.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “BID NO 2/2023 – EBENHAESER IRRIGATION MAINLINES, PROEFPLAAS” and placed in the tender box available at Reception, Casidra’s Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl. No faxed, counter-to-counter courier or posted bids will be accepted.
Any deviations from the original tender document will be sent out as an addendum to the contractors that attend the site meeting.
