TENDER NO 21/2022 – CONSTRUCTION OF IRRIGATION MAINLINES FOR PROEFPLAAS PLOTS, EBENHAESER
The bid will be a measured bid for the works described and is to include material, labour and machinery. The works must be completed within a four (4) month (definition as defined further) contract period.
The scope of works entails the installation of approximately 3 000 m of uPVC pipes with associated fittings to a minimum of 1 m depth cover. The pipes are to be installed on the section of Ebenhaeser referred to as the Proefplaas. This farm is within a 5 km radius of the town of Ebenhaeser.
Bidders must have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3 CE / 2 CE PE or higher.
The tender process is as follows:
BID DEADLINE: The closing date for the bid is 27th July 2022 strictly at 12H00.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “BID NO 21/2022 – EBENHAESER IRRIGATION MAINLINES, PROEFPLAAS” and placed in the tender box available at Reception, Casidra’s Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl. No faxed, counter-to-counter courier or posted bids will be accepted.
A compulsory site meeting will be held on 12th July 2022 at 14h00 at the Sara Hahn conference centre situated in Ebenhaeser (GPS Co-ordinates: 31°35’19.2″S, 18°14’34.2″E). Notice of attendance to be given no later than 12:00 on 08th July 2022 by confirmation via e-mail to mpienaar@casidra.co.za. Please take note that bidders not attending the compulsory site meeting will not be eligible to submit a bid. A locality map (pdf format) with directions to the site is available on request.
Any deviations from the original tender document will be sent out as an addendum to the contractors that attend the site meeting.
