AP5565 TENDER NO:12/2025 ROUND 2: OUDTSHOORN: DE HOEK MOUNTAIN RESORT: CONSTRUCTION OF INSULATED PANEL PROCESSING FACILITY

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The works, as described, are part of Department of Agricultural Western Cape’s CASP programme. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include labour, material and machinery, etc.  As the works are urgent, the successful bidder must have the capacity to start the works within 7 (seven) days of appointment.

The Service provider must also have capacity on site daily to operate a dumpy level successfully, to peg out and control construction levels and have suitable experience in construction of insulated panel structures.

COMPULSORY SITE MEETING:

A compulsory site and information meeting will take place as follows:

• DATE: MONDAY; 26 JANUARY 2026
• TIME: 11:00
• VENUE: NOOITGEDACHT FARM, 3KM FROM DE HOEK MOUNTAIN RESORT ON THE R328 BETWEEN OUDTSHOORN AND PRINCE ALBERT

Prospective bidders that arrive 20 minutes or more after the advertised time will not be allowed to attend the meeting or sign the attendance register.

Bidders (including all partners of a Joint Venture) who did not attend the Compulsory Site and Information Meeting and submit a bid, will be seen as submitting a non-responsible bid. 

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

All bid documents must be downloaded from Casidra RFQ/Tender portal and cannot be provided by email or in hard copy.

TENDERS:

Sealed tenders, endorsed as indicated in the bid document, must reach Casidra SOC Ltd at their Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl, placed in the bid box available at Reception.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THE COMPULSORY DOCUMENTATION AND PARTICULARS MAY RENDER THE BID INVALID.

Documents must be bound as Casidra will not take responsibility for any information that is lost due to unbound submissions of tenders. 

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: MONDAY; 02 FEBRUARY 2026; STRICTLY AT 12:00.

NO COMMUNICATION IS PERMITTED TO TAKE PLACE FROM THE DATE OF ADVERTISEMENT TO THE DATE THAT A SUCCESSFUL BIDDER HAS BEEN APPOINTED.
