General Requirements :
The works, as described, is part of the Disaster Management Programme for Allemansfontein situated Murraysburg District of the Western Cape.It is north east of the R61 connecting the N1 to Murraysburg. The bid will be a measured bid for the works described and is to include material, labour and machinery. The works must be completed within a 6-month (definition as defined further) contract period.

The scope of works entails the construction of a reinforced concrete labyrinth weir located at Allemansfontein Farm situated in Murraysburg.

There will be a compulsory site meeting. The meeting will be held at the Allemansfontein Farm situated the Murraysburg District of the Western Cape. It is north east of the R61 connecting the N1 to Murraysburg (GPS Co-ordinates: 31° 45’24.07″S, 23°38’42.15″E) on 15th January 2026 at 12:00.

Bidders must have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6CE or higher.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “BID NO 18/2025 – CONSTRUCTION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE LABYRINTH EROSION CONTROL WEIR AT ALLEMANSFONTEIN, MURRAYSBURG DISTRICT” and placed in the tender box available at Reception, Casidra’s Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl.
