AP6314 TENDER NO:26/2025 ROUND 1: VAN RHYNSDORP: OUDOOP FARMING: REPLACEMENT OF THE BOUNDARY FENCE 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The works, as described, are situated close to Van Rhynsdorp. The quoted amount will be a lump sum bid and must include labour, material and machinery.  The successful bidder must have the capacity to start the works within 7 (seven) days of appointment.

The scope of works is for the removal of the existing fence and for the replacement of a stock proof fence to the Farm Oudoop, situated in the Van Rhynsdorp district, Western Cape. The fence, which is approximately 6800 meters long in total over various sections of the farm and is 1,2-meters high for external stock proof fence. 

COMPULSORY SITE MEETING:

A compulsory site and information meeting will take place as follows:

• DATE: MONDAY; 23 MARCH 2026
• TIME: 10:00
• VENUE: ASTRON GARAGE ON LEFT HAND SIDE UPON ENTERING VAN RHYNSDORP AT 10H00. DEPARTURE TO FARM WILL BE NO LATER THAN 10H30.  

Prospective bidders that arrive 20 minutes or more after the advertised time will not be allowed to attend the meeting or sign the attendance register.

Bidders (including all partners of a Joint Venture) who did not attend the Compulsory Site and Information Meeting and submit a bid, will be seen as submitting a non-responsible bid. 

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

All bid documents must be downloaded from Casidra RFQ/Tender portal for any and cannot be provided by email or in hard copy.

TENDERS:

Sealed tenders, endorsed as indicated in the bid document, must reach Casidra SOC Ltd at their Head Office, 22 Louws Avenue, Southern Paarl, placed in the bid box available at Reception.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THE COMPULSORY DOCUMENTATION AND PARTICULARS MAY RENDER THE BID INVALID.
