GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The works, as described, the project is situated on a farm which is approximately 14 Kilometres from Robertson Town direction to Ashton. The T-Junction at Agteriedam Padstal you turn left. The project is just after Assegai Rest Klaasvoogds.

This project consists of the following elements:

  1. New Processing Facility
  2. Upgrading Ablution Facilities

Below is a general description of the works and detailed specifications of each section will be highlighted under each respective various sections of part A and B.

 GENERAL DESCRIPTION PART A – NEW PROCESSING FACILITY

  • Construction of a steel structure of 9 metres wide by 15 metres long. Roof sheets, side and gable ends cladding are including.
  • The construction of a 150mm thick reinforced concrete floor.
  • The construction of insulated panelling on top of the concrete floor
  • All painting of a steel portal frame building. All fixing methods are not to be welded where possible, due to design being such that the steel frame can be moved to another location.
  • The price must include all supply and transport of materials to and from site.

 GENERAL DESCRIPTION PART B – UPGRADE OF EXISTING ABLUTION FACILITY

  • Renovation of an existing building, both internally and externally
  • New plumbing facilities

The quoted amount will be a lump bid and must include labour, material and machinery.  The successful bidder must have the capacity to start the works within 7 (seven) days of appointment.
